ILOVEYOUHONEY is a declaration of love to the bees. And anyone who has tasted it knows exactly what we are talking about.
Our honey is natural. What does that mean? It goes into the jar exactly as it comes out of the honeycomb. Simply completely natural. Sometimes we stir it until creamy so that it doesn't run off your buttered bread so quickly. But otherwise, it tastes just as it does fresh from the beehive in every jar.
We harvest our honey only when ripe, which means we only take sealed honeycombs. Why do we do this? Because high quality has always been more important to us than quantity. Each bee colony primarily provides itself with honey – even in winter. We only extract the excess honeycombs.
Why does not every jar of honey taste the same? Because, by nature, no two years are alike. And no two bee colonies gather the same nectar, as it always depends on the location. Depending on that, the summer blossom can be bright yellow to vanilla-colored and taste fruitier or almost exotic. Or consider the spring blossom honey, which can range from snow-white to champagne-colored, and can taste anything from gently playful to vibrantly bold.
From the very beginning, ILOVEYOUHONEY has been harvested, extracted, and stored exactly as is customary for organic honey. But since April 2019, we are allowed to sell our ILOVEYOUHONEY as official organic honey.
